Escape the real world for a weekend event where the dress code includes capes and unicorn sweatpants, and the floor is sometimes lava.

Join us as we celebrate all things geek.

RoberCon is located at the Roberson Museum and Science Center right in downtown Binghamton, NY. However, due to COVID-19 this September we will be hosting RoberCon online through Discord and Zoom.

If you’re looking for a convention with a lot of different thing to do without feeling like you’re fighting through a crowd, RoberCon is the place. You’ll connect with groups and other fans–no matter your passion or fandom.

What is RoberCon?

RoberCon is a fan convention, which means all flavors of geek culture are represented from comic books to sci-fi, tabletop gaming, and cosplay. The convention takes place every year in September downtown Binghamton, NY. Though, in 2020, we will be hosting RoberCon online.

RoberCon also has an altruistic mission in that proceeds from this event go directly back into educational outreach initiatives through Roberson Museum (where the convention is held).

Sep 26 – 27 from 9:30AM – 5PM

Where is RoberCon?

This year RoberCon will take place on Discord (free) and Zoom (paid).

What can I expect to do at RoberCon?

Connect with people through panels, gaming, and writing, chainmaille, and podcasting workshops. There’s also a cosplay contest on Sunday.

There are merchants selling books, art, plushies, figurines, games, and all manner of geek-related items. There will also be over 10 fan groups to connect with and join.

Am I welcome at RoberCon?

Yes. Plain and simple. We made this convention for geeks, so we could connect with other people who like the things we like. We made it to connect with you.
